1. What is Muuzii®?

Muuzii® is the world’s most universal and flexible mobile language translation and language learning service available. Muuzii® is the innovative company that brings language translation and language learning to people’s need and desires to communicate with others in a simple and easy-to-use platform simply using their mobile phones. Muuzii®’s service, is NOT an “app” but uses text messaging to deliver its services and will work on any phone, not just smart phones and doesn’t need to be connected to an expensive data plan or to a Wi-Fi hotspot.

If you can text, then you can translate between English and 40 of the world’s leading languages using Muuzii®.

2. Who is Muuzii®?
Muuzii® is a US company that finally brings simplicity and ease of use to peoples’ needs and desires to communicate with others without the limitations of speaking different languages. Muuzii® founded the company in 2008 and launched its innovative, mobile, language translation service initially in China in 2009 to support translation and language learning between Chinese and English. The service was so well received that within two years, Muuzii®’s service quickly grew to 6+ million subscribers.

Starting in 2011, Muuzii® expanded its portfolio of languages to 40 and greatly enhanced its language learning products and services. The people behind Muuzii® are dedicated to the proposition that language should not be a barrier to successfully communicating in business, education and everyday life.

3. What does the word “Muuzii®” mean?
The word MUUZII comes from the Chinese word “拇指,” or “Mu Zhi” which translated means “thumbs up” or “number one,” or “the best” in English.

4. Who can use Muuzii®?
Any mobile phone operational on any of the 58 US mobile cellular carriers, listed below, can use Muuzii®. Muuzii® operates on these carriers through the Short Code number “97969.”

5. Will Muuzii®’s services work on my cell phone?

Muuzii® works with ANY mobile phone that supports text messaging service. Muuzii® does not need a smartphone with a smartphone “app” connected to an expensive data plan to operate. And, Muuzii® does not need to be connected to a public or private Wi-Fi hotspot to operate. And Muuzii® does not need an Internet connection to operate. Muuzii® offers complete freedom to users.

Moreover, if you travel internationally, as many travelers are aware, Muuzii® can help you to communicate easily with non-English speakers.

6. What is mTrans?

mTrans is Muuzii®’s baseline service and is a real-time, on-demand, language translation service that delivers translations between English and 40 languages by simply using text (SMS) messaging.

Muuzii® works on any mobile phone, any time, and anywhere, even when traveling internationally*. And because Muuzii is not an “app” limited to smartphones only, Muuzii® offers users the most universal and flexible language translation tool available today.

7.What is mSpeak

As an added feature to the baseline mTrans product, Muuzii® also offers a powerful product called mSPEAK, that expands mTrans’ capabilities to not only accomplish translation as a text message but it also sends an audio file of the translation that can be played on the mobile phone. The subscriber can then play the audio file to either communicate with another person, or to use that audio file to help them with pronunciation of the translation.

8. What is the translation code?

The Muuzii® translation code is the set of symbols (the code) that tell Muuzii® what is the selected language to translate with English. You can change the language to be translated with English at any time by simply texting the translation code listed below to the Short Code “97969.”

The Muuzii® service mobile number is your mobile cellular phone number. It is the number that Muuzii® recognizes and uses to accomplish its translation services and delivery of any other subscriber language services and any broadcast messages from Muuzii®.
10. What is Muuzii®’s Enterprise Solution?
Muuzii® ENTERPRISE is a powerful platform that provides enterprise customers (commercial companies, non-profit organizations, government agencies, or NGOs) a unified system to provide their employees, customers and/or constituents valuable resources, information, language translation and language learning services simply through their mobile phones. All of Muuzii®’s product and services are simply uses text messaging to deliver its services and will work on any phone; Muuzii® is not an “app” and not just smart phones and Muuzii® doesn’t need to be connected to an expensive data plan or to a Wi-Fi hotspot to work.

Muuzii® ENTERPRISE is a comprehensive, unified management platform that provides customers a system for providing, accessing and managing their use of Muuzii®’s language translation and language learning services for their employees, customers or constituents. 1.Can I try Muuzii®’s language translation service (mTrans) before committing to a paid subscription?
Yes! Of course! Muuzii® invites you to try our flagship language translation service, mTrans, before making a commitment to subscribe because we are confident you’ll love using Muuzii®. Our free trial provides you FREE access to Muuzii®’s language translation service between English and 40 languages. The trial will allow you to use Muuzii®’s translation service for FREE for 7 days, up to 10 messages per day.
2. How do I sign up for a free trial of Muuzii®’s language translation service (mTrans)?

There are two ways to sign up for a free trial of our language translation service (mTrans):
• Just simply text #gotrial to Muuzii®’s short code number 97969; or,
• Click Muuzii® Mobile Terms and Conditions. You will be directed to the Muuzii®’s “Mobile Terms and Conditions” page and follow these simple steps:
(1.) Enter your mobile number as requested
(2.) Check the checkbox if you agree to Muuzii®’s Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy and then
(3.) Click the “ENTER” button. You’ll receive a welcome message from Muuzii along with an instruction on how to use Muuzii’s language translation service.

3. How do I subscribe to Muuzii®’s language translation service (mTrans)?

Please go to Muuzii®’s official website at www.muuzii.com, and follow these simple instructions:
(1) Click “language translation” under the PRODUCTS button.
(2) Select the service you wish to order
(3) Click “ORDER NOW” and you will be directed to Muuzii®’s Checkout page to complete your subscription order.

4. Can I buy Muuzii services for other people? And how?
Yes! A subscription to Muuzii® would make a great gift for people you know. Please simply follow the same process to purchase a subscription. However, during the checkout process, please make sure the service mobile number you entered belongs to the people that you wish to gift the Muuzii® service.
5. How do I pay for Muuzii® services?
You can pay for your subscription with your major credit card or your PayPal account. Both Muuzii and PayPal accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
6. Do I need to renew my Muuzii® subscription?

No. The Muuzii® subscription is a one-time subscription purchase with a specific validity period. If you would like to continue using Muuzii®’s service once your subscription has expired, you will need to go back to Muuzii®’s website (www.muuzii.com) to re-order a new subscription again.

7. I’ve signed up for the free trial but it’s not working! What’s wrong?

There are three possible reasons why the service is not working, as follows:
1) Your mobile phone carrier has set-up your service to block all third party services. This is a settling that the carrier can select to force you to only use services they sell. You can simply call your mobile carrier and ask them to change the setting, allowing you access and use of third party services.
2) You are in an area where the mobile phone service is either very poor or non-existent. The only solution is to move into an area where cellular service is available. This is not under Muuzii®’s control. To check, please give us a call 1-855-621-5018 and we’ll let you know.
3) The carrier may have an outage in their network. Network outages occur due to equipment failure, network/equipment maintenance or acts of God. This is not under Muuzii®’s control. To check, please give us a call 1-855-621-5018 and we’ll let you know. Once service is working again, we’ll send you the welcome message.

8.I have tried to subscribe to Muuzii®’s service but it seems I can’t successfully subscribe to the service. What’s wrong?

There might be 3 reasons which are outside of Muuzii®’s direct control but you can solve directly:

  • Your phone is set up to block mobile purchases or the third party services.

Solution: Please check with your carrier to turn on the mobile purchase or the third party service for your phone.

  • If you have a business account, then your company might block mobile purchases on your phone.

Solution: Please call your carrier to find out if the mobile purchase blocker can be turned off.  Or call your corporate network office and ask them to remove the company blocker.

  • For AT&T’s customers, the mobile purchase limit is $100 a month – each 30-day billing period.  If buying the Muuzii service puts you over the limit, then you will not be able to buy it at this time.

Solution: We recommend you stop services you don’t need.  Then you can resubmit your request to buy the Muuzii® service.

9. How do I cancel a Muuzii® subscription?

You may cancel your subscription and use of Muuzii® at any time by texting the word “stop” to Muuzii® (97969). Muuzii® does not provide any refunds for cancellation of service.

10. How do I use Muuzii®’s language translation service (mTrans)?

It’s very simple and easy! If you can text, you can translate using Muuzii®. Muuzii® uses text messaging, all you need to do is text any word and/or phrase using your cell phone and send it to Muuzii®’s short code number 97969, and you’ll receive the translation via SMS in seconds. Using Muuzii® is as easy as 1, 2, 3 as described below:
